Reason: UR is likely requesting a far turn without verbal for the left 2 lanes (going straight) towards WB 403 since it might be somewhat confusion that you first need to bypass the ramp to Rousseaux (Ch. Mohawk Rd).

Not quite sure what you’re requesting.

Looks like I did the Path last year though which is currently in a Pull configuration. I wonder if its needed at all there?
The guidance at the Y just ahead is going to prompt 800-1000 metres back, should be more than enough - what you think?

Well actually, another editor had a look at it, and did agree to enable the without verbal far turn to WB 403.

So we can disregard this request.

Not quite - the FarLane here, as a pulled visual, is entirely counter-intuitive here. you’re forcing a visual only to have another audible prompt ~150 metres after. You’re inducing a graphical change, a distance countdown change.

There’s really two solutions here.

  1. get rid of the Path providing the FarLanes entirely. In its currently configuration, its not serving any benefit that the existing junction is already serving. Its 3-lanes throughout, the driver isn’t going to get confused with the Rousseaux “exit”

By getting rid of the path, you’re you’re only getting the prompt at the 403 E/W ramp split. This is what people are going to be after. That junction is only 440 metres from the overhead sign, they’re going to have more than enough distance.

  1. if you do want to have the left merge off LG with the 403 W/E LG, which I’ve done before but don’t see the need here, then that FarLane Path should be in the push configuration as it will override and terminate the distance to at the 403 W/E junction point.

The path as a pull, even as a visual, is adding an unnecessary direction [visual] prompt
