L5 Update: Ontario - Mississauga (Hwy 401 Collector E)

Hi Editors, I’d appreciate your help with a map update.

Reason: 2 months ago, I took out the Voice Prompt for “Keep right to Mavis Rd / Hurontario St / Hwy 403 / Hwy 410 / Dixie Rd” at the transfer to Express (just east of the Credit River) because 1: Just like on the 401 in Toronto where we see interchanges with transfer to Express, drivers would know what to do (which is keeping right most of the time) if they want to continue in the Collector lanes without the need for Voice Prompts/Visual Instruction. And 2: It was such a long TTS based on what the Overhead sign reads that it wasn’t necessary to put, especially when it was displayed at the Express to Collector transfer 1.5km west.
But I think it’s having a bit of a drawback because today, my friend who was on that stretch (along with some users days/weeks before him) wasn’t warned enough or paying attention to the signs that would tell them to be in the 3 right lanes to stay in the Collectors.

I think rather than putting back the Voice Prompt/TTS, maybe a silent reminder or “Without Verbal Instruction” (displaying CS) should help everybody in that interchange. Even if the criteria says an existing lane(s) for more than a km would be used as an exit lane(s) (which this one isn’t), this is probably the only way that can work so that users transferring to Collectors from Express won’t have to hear the long TTS reading from the Overhead sign over & over again.

You may need to delete the Visual Instruction/Towards and fix the LGs as ‘:arrow_upper_left:|:arrow_upper_left::arrow_up:||’ while you’re doing those changes.

Thank you in advance,

I think a continue straight without voice is reasonable here. Updated, thanks.
