I’m sorry to disagree, but the three existing cameras are all red light cameras, although they had incorrect settings. These are combined red light & speed cameras - they can operate in both modes. If you jump the red light, they fire. If you pass a green light over the speed limit they also fire.
There is a current problem with this type of camera. If a speed limit is set, then the camera will only alert drivers with an audible warning if they are exceeding the speed limit - despite the fact that the red-light functionality is always active. For this reason, we always set combined cameras as red light cameras with a speed of zero so they always alert. The mistake here was that the speed was set on the cameras, which I’ve now corrected. I’ve removed the odd speed camera that simply wasn’t there at all.
This problem with combined cameras has been ongoing for some time. In a couple of weeks, we will be having the 3rd UK Editors Meetup with Waze Staff. I brought this issue up with staff last week at the EU Champs meetup in Amsterdam and I will definitely be giving them stick about it again! :lol:
In the meantime, I’m afraid you’ll have to remove the cameras you’ve added.
