There are several URs in Madison about incorrect lake labels. Should be “Lake Mendota,” not “Mendota Lake” etc. I realize this is basemap import and is inaccessible to editors but can I email someone about it? Is this even worth the trouble?

Most maps are updated by Navteq. Might want to try them.
Since the Water Layer is inaccessible by editors, and Waze Staff don’t/won’t do anything about it when we request fixes, there isn’t much we can actually do.
Those UR’s are minor enough that I wouldn’t even bother trying to trick the system. If something is actually named wrong (Lake Mendota should be Lake Superior) then we can look at some options.
Until there is an issue like that, just tell the reporters that we do not have access to change lake names at this time.
