When L1 editing is active again I plan on properly mapping out a residential complex. There’s a two way and one way system with clusters of car parks etc that can get very congested at peak times with visitors, delivery drivers and the like.
One issue the residents have is ensuring service and delivery drivers come to the right place as whilst there is only one entrance/exit to the complex there are actually three entrances to the property.
Is there a way to correctly map this to help people? For instance, would you map the entire residential complex and then use points to map the entrances? The main thinking being, visitors and delivery people get to the right place.
Places can be mapped with multiple entry points and these can be named and so you should be able to map this correctly. I have heard that the multiple entry point feature only currently works with iPhone and not android, but I am not sure this is still correct.
An alternative is that you can add house numbers to the property at each entrance so that the delivery is directed to the correct entrance.
All things considered, I still assume this would be the best way of mapping it, in advance of future updates? Rather than bodging it by using three seperate places.
