We are thrilled to announce that registration for the in-person LatAm Mega Meetup 2026 is now open! This year, we will gather in the vibrant city of Lima, Peru, and we would love for you to join us. :tada:

Meetup Details:

  • Dates: March 27-29
  • Location: Lima

General Agenda:

  • Friday, March 27: Arrival, Check-in, Reception, and Dinner
  • Saturday, March 28: Presentations, Workshops, Activity, and Dinner
  • Sunday, March 29: Presentations, Roundtables, Q&A Panel, and Farewell Cocktail

This meetup is about bringing our community together, celebrating our collective spirit, and driving innovation. Together, we will explore new ideas, tackle challenges, and improve the Waze experience for users around the world..

SPACE IS LIMITED!

To secure your spot, please complete this registration form by December 21st. Please note that registration does not guarantee a spot. We have a limited number of spots available, and selection will be based on the following criteria:

  • Editor Level
  • Participation in Previous Meetups: Commitment and dedication to the community.
  • Participation in Waze communities: Active roles in multiple initiatives, such as being an editor and beta tester or localizer
  • Community Balance: Ensuring diverse representation of countries for an inclusive experience.
  • Community Activity: Participation in forums, Discord, and special projects.
  • Recommendations from Local Community Leadership

Confirmed participants will receive an email in early January. If you are on the waiting list, we will notify you as soon as a spot becomes available.

Important Information:

  • Passport: Ensure your passport is valid (not expired).
  • Flights: Do not book your own flights; our travel agents will contact you once your attendance is confirmed.
  • Additional Guests: We cannot cover expenses or manage flight bookings for family members. They will also not be able to join the Meetup sessions.
  • Accommodation: Waze covers 2 nights of accommodation (Friday and Saturday). A third night may be covered if required by your flight itinerary or a long driving distance, subject to prior approval.
