Perhaps the best way to have discussions about city standardization may be area by area.
Ewa Beach, Ewa Gentry and Ewa Villages are the three Census Designated Place names in Ewa. Google will display the CDPs. I can fit two of the three screenshots on this message. I can already see there are limitations to this map – the Ewa Gentry shaded area excludes the northeast quadrant of the Geiger Road/Ft Weaver Rd intersection where a subdivision sign indicates “Ewa by Gentry.” But they are at least visual guidelines.

Anyway, you can see these images by searching for CDPs by name on Google Maps – zooming out a bit makes them show up more clearly as pink.
All of these places are Ewa Beach by postal address.
So my thinking is to try to follow the CDP in this area, with all of them getting Ewa Beach as an alternate name (except Ewa Beach proper, of course, which wouldn’t need an alternate). Interested in any thoughts on this.
