This segment is closed for construction (has been for weeks, will be for some time to come). I tried marking it closed in the mobile app, but never saw any change. How do we report such “semi-temporary” closures?
I have temporarily just disallowed the turns onto that segment, but I would prefer to close it properly. Can you find any information on the expected date that it will re-open?

There is apparently no website that documents this work, and no project sign with any contact information. The only workers on site were laborers who knew nothing. I’ve left a message with the city engineer responsible for the project - hopefully he will respond soon.
Ok, thank you VERY much for the research effort and photo. Let me know if you find out anything, or if you see the construction complete and traffic allowed through there.
I finally was able to talk to the engineer in charge, who says the project is scheduled to be complete October 4, 2014 “depending on CalTrans”. They were pouring concrete today, but it looks like there’s lots more work to do.
I have now entered that segment in the Waze closure sheet, so as soon as it’s uploaded, you will see it in the app as red/white striped, and Waze won’t route over it until October 4. Let me know if you get further updates, or if it opens early.
I don’t see how they can be done by October 4th - I would guess that it will be at least another week or 10 days. Can’t find the engineer to ask. Will be here again next Wednesday so will update again then.
I think I told you this elsewhere, but so it’s on record here, I extended the closure to October 10.
As of today, it looks like at least another week. Please extend to 10/17/2014. Thanks.

Oh, don’t worry about the completion flag on the thread. That just lets other editors know that they don’t have to check in on this one and see if anything needs to be done. I will still get notified when you post here, so I can personally keep on top of the closure situation as you submit updates.

Wow. I’ve bumped the closure to the 31st.
I went by this evening and it’s open for traffic. Still some curb work and stuff, but the barricades are gone.
