Hi Editors,

I would like to be able to edit the following segments.

vielen Dank für Deinen Eintrag im Forum bezüglich des Linksabbiegens von der Witikonerstrasse in den Kapfsteig.

Ich hatte das entsprechende Segment, nach einem UR an gleicher Stelle, als Privatstrasse markiert, um eine Durchfahrt dort zu verhindern. Allerdings habe ich das Abbiegen nicht verboten. Soweit ich weiss, dürfen Zubringer sowie Anwohner weiterhin links abbiegen? Leider sehe ich das erwähnte Foto nicht im Anhang deiner Nachricht. Wenn das Abbiegen wirklich nicht erlaubt ist, würde ich dir das entsprechende Segment auf L2 locken. Danke für Deine Rückmeldung.

It is not a private road, because it is still possible to turn right from Witikonerstrasse (direction south east). It is also still possible to cross over Witikonerstrasse (direction south west) from Kapfstrasse to Kapfsteig.

What is new is that the left turn from Witikonerstrasse to Kapfsteig (direction north west) is no longer permitted … (except Zubringerdiest).

Can Waze handle this!?

Thank you for sharing the photo with me. I understand that left turns from Witikonerstrasse to Kapfsteig are no longer allowed except for Zubringerdiest. However, Waze cannot handle this type of restriction directly.

One possible option would be to leave the road as a “Private Road.” This way, drivers who have a destination on this road can still be routed there, and the restriction is enforced for those who not have a destination there.
Prohibiting left turns could affect more drivers and potentially cause more errors.

Additionally, i think this restriction is in place to avoid diversionary traffic in case of congestion on Hofackerstrasse. And we can represent this with this solution.I will discuss this with other editors to see if there are any better solutions.
