Level 3 & Level 2 Update: INDIANA, Lawrence County

Greetings!

Two issues

  1. turn restriction and directional updates needed, plus area has revcons and MANY soft turns.
  2. REQUEST point place.

  1. I was told by a Rank 1 friend who camps every summer at Midian that the segment of SR-58 here does NOT have a restricted left turn onto Armstrong Station Rd - a 2-way road, totally legal.

He also said that Boone Hollow Rd is 2-way, NOT one-way. There are a number of other roads in the park that are also designated one-way in Waze, but the GPS tracks clearly show 2-way traffic.

He told me that because of the turn restriction and erroneous one-way designation, Waze tried to route him on a gigantic loop of the area that would have added more than 20 minutes to his drive.

This is south of my editable area (I90 border to border)

Also his cell carrier has no cell phone or data signal for several miles in that region, so the area has never been added to his own editable area, even though he’s been back home more than three weeks.

I assume the AM listed as the last editor to touch these must have done a dn/up-lock for some lower ranked editor, because there are revcons and soft turns all through this national park.

  1. Point place request for a campground:

Midian LLC
4093 Boone Hollow Road
Springville, IN 47462
http://www.campmidian.com

-86.65872 38.90946
https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-86.65872&lat=38.90946&zoom=8&mode=0

This was a basemap area imported by Waze from Census data and other sources. Once imported, roads can be updated by driving through that area with Waze on. This feature stops once it is edited by someone else.

It’s out of my area too, but I’ll get somebody onto it

Dave

Thanks! My friend finally had time to get on WME chat and BigBear3764 took care of it.
