This crazy intersection appears to be mapped as a flyover intersection while all roads are at grade. The error report linked can be ignored as the uturn made by those drivers is illegal. You should probably be familiar with this intersection before taking on the daunting task of fixing it. Good luck!

Looks good to me.

Flyovers are fine as long as no turning option is forgotten. It is done to simplify editing and checking. There have been some other discussion about this lovely intersection in the past on this forum. So unless you know of a forgotten turn, I’d leave it alone.

That’s why I said “it looks good to me.” I didn’t see anything wrong with it and I know that doing anything with it would just screw it up.

There are some UTurns that aren’t restricted that are being restricted because the road flys over the other .

What segments are needing U-turns?

Generally, we don’t put u-turns. But here’s my question. Are there multiple URs or SRs showing people are taking u-turns and Waze saying “missing road segment” or " these roads are too far apart"?

I wouldn’t have posted here if I wasn’t attempting to fix an error report. The report(s) have been cleared now.

You didn’t answer the question, what U-turns need to be allowed?

I don’t feel like making a list for you. If you want to fix it, move forward with your own research. It seems you’re happy with this intersection so I’m moving on to other things.

Wow. I don’t think I’ve seen that sort of attitude here before – since we’re all volunteers working towards making everything better.

As an aside… if you want to get things done, I wouldn’t recommend alienating the L5’s. We’re not a large group.

The first few posts here mention that nothing is wrong and any edits will screw it up. You guys are the level 5s, I’m a level one with only 55k points and less than 50 posts.

If multiple people think it is fine, and someone mentioned not adding uturns, I don’t want to be the one to force a change.

Its apparently one of only a handful of those types of intersections in the world. (From my understanding, its actually trademarked or copyrighted, now.) It seems to work well enough. Just yesterday it navigated me through it fine though I did have a hell of a time getting back onto it from some side streets. (I should go check that UR I put in)

I’m sorry about the “attitude” I shouldn’t have used in that post, but I’ve gotten attitude in my direction before from high level editors so it was just unnecessarily retaliatory on my part.

I think the issue that the other L5s were having was that they didn’t know where the specific issue to resolve was – they (and I) didn’t see the URs or SRs that you wanted to fix – there could be something wrong with it, but we needed to know where the issues were being reported in order to look at it further (it is a rather complicated intersection).

We may be more experienced than you, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have something to contribute – and I don’t think they were giving attitude here, just trying to get a feel for what needed to be looked at. Please recognise that nearly all of us are volunteering here, too!

You need to understand something. We’re not there and can’t just look at the intersection to figure it out without some direction. We need some instructions on what to do or what you’re attempting to do. Most of us have no problem with helping out, but we tend to help those out who give us information on what to do.

There’s an editor in California who is fuming because I won’t unlock the exit ramp. He/she just wants it unlocked form a level 5 to a level 3, that’s his only reason. Nothing’s wrong with the ramp, so it’s not getting unlocked. That’s why we need/like the information instead of blindly unlocking segments.

https://www.waze.com/editor/?zoom=7&lat=39.90362&lon=-75.09525&layers=BFTFFTTTFTTFTTTTTTTTTFT&segments=64957376 this road can make a uturn as far as I understand (onto 130, the red colored rd). Its an option for getting on I76 and getting into the neighborhood over there. That was the report with the most frequent “turn not allowed but driven” reports. ITs really not worth it to change the whole intersection to make that one uturn allowed. I don’t remember all of the other reports. It’s quite an undertaking to research and fix this so I’d rather not bother based on what you guys have said earlier.

Next time, leave the UR/SRs up so those of us who look at the intersection can read those URs and help figure out what’s going on.

I did and I do, other people seem to clear them.

Oh, ok.

In that case, include a screenshot with the UR selected and zoomed so we can see the entire paths, if included.

I’ve studied that intersection for several hours over the times it has been brought up here. But no amount of aerial study and Google street view images will replace wheels on the street. You are our eyes and wheels.

That turn was marked as a U-turn when I first looked at it this month. Thought it was a mistake from the pavement markings. I have re-enabled it.

Here is an error report for a UTurn that is commonly made and is not restricted with any signs:

Here are two reports for this uturn problem that the flyover has caused.
