Level 4 Edit - Oklahoma City near I-235 & NE 50th St Bridge

Hi,

It looks like the closures for the entrance & exit ramps in this area have expired.

NE 50TH ST ON-RAMP TO SOUTHBOUND I-235
Still closed, work is coming along nicely. Once completed, the final location of the concrete may be slightly different.

NE 50th ST “OLD WESTBOUND” ON-RAMP TO SOUTHBOUND I-235
This ramp has been completely removed and is not going to return. Both eastbound & westbound traffic will use the same on-ramp listed above. There is now a new, uninterrupted curb along the northern edge of the street. See link at the bottom of this message to ODOT’s reconstruction map.

NORTHBOUND N SANTA FE ON-RAMP TO NORTHBOUND I-235
This ramp has been completely removed and is not going to return. It’s removal is part of the plan to reduce bottlenecks on northbound I-235.

NORTHBOUND I-235 OFF-RAMP TO SOUTHBOUND SANTA FE AVE
Still closed. I’m not sure what the final plan is for this one. Earlier plans showed it relocated much farther north. The map on ODOT’s website now shows it in it’s current location.

Looks like the ramps were closed just didn’t continue all the way through to the freeway. Extended it out.

Removed.

We’ll leave it be for now and take a look once we have some better sat images or maps.
