Level 5, I-89 Exit 19, St. Albans, Vermont

Problem is entry and exit ramps are so close together that gps cannot accurately differentiate. Should just be made as though it is a single 2-way road on East side of Fairfax road, until the ramps split as they get closer to the interstate. I did a ham-handed fix up until that point, but then realized I need a level 5 to fix it.
Thanks, and if it helps you could just make me a level 5…

For those of us that want to look at it…permalink?

Sorry, could have sworn I added that. Here you go…

I think it needs to be split just a little before the ramps, like I did to it. I get what you’re saying about the GPS points, but I think it needs to remain split.

OK, but it popped up a wrong way alert. That is why I looked at it.

Thanks, I’ll get up there and try a navigation to see how it behaves.

Was the minor highway split before?

Hey,

I think you have it split to the same point as before, just to end of the little median. I think it would be good to try to really space those roads to the outside of their lanes, so they are as far from each other as possible up through that corner.

Also, take a peak at the overpass there. One lane goes under 89, but all should.

When I first looked at it, there wasn’t any segment connected to the onramp.

Were you getting a UR or a SR?

I’m pretty sure it was a SR error, but not positive. There was a connection, but I broke it with my mad skills, lol. I didn’t realize I would need the L5 until I had started, and left things as far as I had proceeded.

I think it was SR that showed someone had driven wrong way, but it was gps-related, I’m sure.

I understand your thoughts on keeping the split, but as I mentioned, if you keep those lanes as far apart as possible it may eliminate or alleviate the gps discrepancies, I don’t know…
