Reason: Update speed limits following the recent Kitchener by-law change that reclassified nearly all residential roads from 50km/h to “AREA 40km/h”. Split into four links to make it all visible when using the permalinks while not being too much, sorry if that’s not normal! I split based on speed limits, so 50km/h -> 40km/hr are permalinks 1 & 3, 40km/h -> 30km/h are permalinks 2 & 4 (school zones).
Unlock to level: 1
If someone would prefer to do this instead of lowering/unlocking I don’t have an issue with that, but just wanted to chip in.

I have no problem unlocking - for future, try to keep the links separated per street naming and lock type, it just helps keep track of what needs to be locked/relocked
The school zones, does Kitchener observe them everyday year round, regardless if school is in session? If not, we actually don’t map the school speed limits and will just map the general limit (which I’m guessing is 40)
When you’re finished, ensure you reply back in thread for relocking.

Apologies for the delay, I had not received any email about this thread follow up and had only been checking in every few days (will fix that now).
I will do that in future going forward – I had been thinking it was okay since you could re-do it via the permalinks, however I see your reasoning and that makes sense!
In Kitchener, school zones are observed year round every day of the week, at least unless marked otherwise (in this case they are always enforced).
Weirdly it says that the segments were all last edited by you, but many of them (though not all) had been updated to reflect the updated speed limits – am I misreading it or does it not mark someone as having “edited” it unless it’s more than a speed change (and someone else snuck in those edits)?

No worries - email notifications are suppose to be opt-out, but theres been know issues. Check out this forum post to ensure your settings are correct

That makes it easy! Yeah if they’re daily all-year, its “majority” so we will add the school limit.
“last edited” means last person to touch and saved - since I unlocked them, I was that last editor.
I’ll figure it out this time for the relocking, but for next time, please ensure the permalink segments are that of the same street name as lock level.
So if theres L4 and L5 locked segments of ‘Common St’, have one PL group for Common St L4 and another for the L5 segments.
