Is this better done with a road closure rather than a map turn restriction?
Reporter thinks that the closure will be permanent after the road works. I have checked live traffic and there is no detail there. I suppose we could do a closure until it becomes clear what the final design will be. Whats your comment?
If it’s just a no right turn, I don’t think that can be done with Closure alone, so it’ll need to be a turn restriction. I’ve unlocked the segment. What I do in these cases is place a turn restriction for, say, 6 months, then let it expire & see if new reports come in again to remind us to review it again. This area is getting a new hospital, so who knows what will happen in the end?

Relocked. Oh, forgot to mention, sometimes I add a note to the turn restriction (“roadworks, review in December 2017”). Never mind here. It’ll be pretty obvious.
