Report has come for this turn from Milton Road onto Eagle Tce. The right turn from Milton Rd onto Eagle Tce is currently not permitted M-F 7am to 7pm.
There is also a large yellow warning sign for no right turn onto Eagle Tce on Milton Rd and drivers should instead take Ridley St.
I would like access to this intersection so I can mark this turn as a difficult turn.
I am not sure that it should be. I drive through here all the time and the turn is not “difficult”. If the wait times are excessive Waze will learn this and stop routing this way. The turn is denied already during the busy part of the day. This is just one report when hundreds of cars would use this turn every day.
If you want an example of what I would call difficult. https://www.waze.com/en-GB/editor/?env=row&lon=153.00664&lat=-27.45577&zoom=7&segments=105060045
Waze sent me this way the other night after a crash on the ICB. It was a right turn in the dark with cars queueing to turn into this street which were obscured by a line of traffic queueing all the way back to here trying to turn right into Water St. The closest lane was moving but difficult to see as to the right the road climbs and then turns away. Sat here for over 5 mins so Waze may not suggest it again!
I personally agree with this point that between 7pm and 7am the turn is not difficult, but I am aware that TMR has placed a warning sign before this turn to alert drivers to take another turn.

To clarify, it is the right turn from Balmain Tce onto Musgrave Rd? If so, I would regard this as a difficult turn. I have done this turn myself.
Even just turning left onto Musgrave Rd can be difficult.
Thanks TG. From the lack of against votes after TG said right turn Milton Rd onto Eagle Tce should not be marked as a difficult turn, in about 24 hours from now I will inform the reporter of our decision to not change the turn. Of course if more discussion occurs here in the meantime, I will hold off
Yes it looked like it that night as well.
I am going to reply back to the reporter that after quite a lot of discussion about this turn, it has been decided that outside of already forbidden turn hours, this turn is not difficult. If drivers are regularly delayed at this turn, then waze will learn this and will offer a different route as this turn will be slower at night.
Here is another two turns for discussion for consideration for difficult turn marking:

They are right turn Stafford St onto Lytton Rd and right turn Northmore St onto Lytton Rd
We get regular reports of drivers complaining about this turn during peak hours. Department of Transport and Main Roads has forbidden the right turn from Lytton Road onto these two streets, so they have recognised there is an issue here already, but not for the turns being discussed.
What are the thoughts of Qld editors especially? Should we mark these two turns as difficult?
We have previously responded that waze will learn over time that these turns are slow and not to take them, but this seems not to be the case.
