Reason for request: Follow up with LG
This one is difficult wor. We already have driving restriction being set for the bus lane. Technically both are valid routes (via and not via the bus lane). LG doesn’t have a time-dependent setting. We can’t decide for Waze which route is better at that time, although usually left lane is faster from my experience.

I think you only need to add LG upto this junction.
The bus lane have already catered.
It depends what we want to do.
If our rationale is only to guide unfamiliar people to the correct lane, then if the sign says second lane only for HK(C), we’d better input the same for LG, in order not to confuse unfamiliar drivers. TD don’t put sign for left lane because the sign is up for 24 hours a day, and it’d be wrong to guide people to left lane when bus lane is in effect.
However, if our goal is to outsmart traffic, then we probably want to guide people to the left lane as well when bus lane restriction is not effective.
I think for this complex junction, the primary goal is to guide unfamiliar people to the correct lane.
If we can outsmart traffic on top of this then it is bonus.
I seriously think this bus lane is not a usual route to take, only those who regularly drive this route would have known what time to take that shortcut.
I almost always take the left lane when I drive, because I never use red tunnel during rush hours :mrgreen:
If I’m in a hurry, I would have taken east/west harbour tunnel.
My thought to give LG with time-dependent display would be to draw another segment (with same name) in parallel to the existing two. Then add corresponding time-restriction (see red text in the image below)
Much similar to how time-based toll is set in this old school method. (N.B. Time-based tolls don’t need to use this method now, I digged this ancient article as an example only)

No you can’t. Let me just save my work in WME. You can see how I added time-restrictions onto the turn arrows.
Locked to L3. So anyone who has editing rights should have rights to see the lanes too. (LG is editable by L3+)
