Per this UR, the original closure info might be low quality, what do you think? remove the closure? What’s worse?
I’m always inclined to believe the man on the ground when it comes to closures. Also I’ve checked the BBC traffic webpage and that makes no mention. So I’ve taken the closure out of Waze.
Would be worth checking the BBC site this evening, I’ve found a Highways England entry from 2016 closing this road 20:00-06:00. I wouldn’t be surprised if this closure was overnight too, despite the “all the time” on the roadworks.org entry. I’ll be out at 8pm, but I’ll try to remember to have a look when I get in around 10:30 - or you can preempt me and post another closure request topic.
