Reason for request:

I have driven this junction many and many times and when driving this junction recently I identified an issue with the navigational instructions in Waze.

There are two exits in close succession (100 or 200 yards apart) and it can be hard for driver with no knowledge of area to take wrong exit as when approaching the junction Waze will instruct eg. “in 1000 yards take exit to the left onto…”, yet a driver could easily take first exit rather than second ~(or vice-versa)

First exit has filter lane that starts a good distance from junction. Believe the road needs splitting earlier to indicate keep left and keep right before first junction.

So that instruction for first junction becomes “Keep Left then take the exit Left” and second exit becomes “Keep Right and then take exit Left”

I am more than happy to allow a L5 to edit this rather than downlock if you would prefer.

Junction updated:

  • first exit will say “keep left” or “keep right”
  • second exit will say “exit left” or nothing

This is a good fix. I was going to change it myself. I agree that it could be misleading
