These appear fixed, can you verify and marked solved. Thanks!

End of the ramp should be extended past the end of the solid white lines

I took a second look and discovered, that there is a very specific reason why it was done short like that; to avoid crossing over/under all the other segments in that area. How does it ending short effect routing instructions?

Nothing really, other than standard adherence; I wont pester further.

Is there a problem when they cross over the other segments? Maybe I didn’t follow the logic not to have the ramp extended to the white line end.

I think he meant visual appeal so you dont have, visually, a tick-tack-toe grid at the centre of the stack.

We already have two roads crossed by six. We already have that appearance. Not sure putting the ramp terminus in the correct spot makes it any worse really.

I thought we always put the junctions where they really lie whenever possible, especially with solid white line dividers, even if the road cross over one another.

By all means, move it–you’re the one with the power

I’ll ping citeman to clarify his thoughts on this.

I fully agree that the Wiki guidance recommends terminating the ramp at the end of the white line; and in most ramp configurations that is what should be done (NOTE- we have a lot of cleanup needed throughout CA). However, another important Waze rule is Simplicity. When you have several segments crossing over one another and/or running parallel to one another, the complexity can cause the wrong segment to get selected with new routes or create complex elevation situations for editors. Therefore, I have seen many senior editors simplify those ramp configurations and end (merge) them somewhat early. Those were my thoughts, but we can gladly go complex to preserve the proper timing for the auto-zoom feature in the app.
