I would like assistance updating the following segment.

Reason: Road segment being listed as ‘Private Road’ as opposed to surrounding ‘Primary Streets’ appears to be preventing all traffic from being directed through Fort Gordon Gate 1. This is causing significantly longer routes to be suggested to common destinations near Gate 1 such as Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center and Darling Hall.

That Private Road sets the gate so Waze will not route through the base unless the destination is on the base. Waze will route through the gate if the destination is on the other side. Are you having a problem routing to a destination on base?
Yes. For approximately the last month, Waze has routed all traffic through Gate 6, even if navigation is started from directly north of Gate 1 and the destination is right through the gate (I frequently travel to the hospital just inside the entrance.) I looked on the map to see what might be causing the issue, and that private road was the only thing different that I could see. I have minimal experience with map editing; I would appreciate any insight you could provide.
I am not sure what is causing the problem, I have removed the Private Road and replaced it with restrictions that I found on the fort’s website for Gate 6. This should be active in your app in 3-7 days. Please delete your destination from search and from favorites and do a new search to replace the old data. When you do a new search, if you see a clock in front of the destination, it is still old data. Let me know if there is still a problem in a week.
