You’ve not stated any reason for your request. Please can you let us know why you would like the segment unlocking?
Please note at the moment, new editors are not able to edit the map, An established editor will have to make the change. Please see here for more info:

There was (and still is) a road closure here which I added yesterday once I got in from work
