Livemap problems - cannot add a UR

Hi,

This seems the most likely forum to stick this question (If not Moderators, please move it accordingly)

Over the last week I’ve been unable to add a UR in Livemap for anything. There are a couple of URs I needed to add to make other editors aware of Construction Works. Two in the UK and one in China. Whenever I try to add one I get an error message telling me it cannot be performed, and I lose all the text I’ve put in. Which is most annoying.

Does anyone know of current issues affecting this?

Many thanks,
Ian

I noticed this too with the last Editor upgrade and assumed it was just a quirk that would be quickly fixed (I haven’t needed to place one since)… but it’s still not working for me either.

And now the “Report a problem” link isn’t doing anything at all :frowning:

In online Live map mode the “Report a problem” link still has not worked. Near of it the “Permalink” works perfectly.
Tried on several computers and browsers…

As others have said, the “Report a Problem” feature DOESN’T work and it is infuriating. When I try on Firefox, I get an “oops, there was a problem” message and the dialog box disappears; when I try on Internet Explorer, the dialog box simply doesn’t respond.

Waze currently considers my address to be in a alley, not the street and this had lead to many problems with Uber drivers.

Hmm, works in Chrome, but not Firefox for me.

" and "Post a permalink and we’ll try to help you. (Permalinks are found in the bottom right hand corner of WME - a chain symbol. Right click on it and select Copy Link Location, then paste into a message here surrounded by “” (minus the speech marks!)

The problem is in the Live Map not the WME so there is no permalink. Right click on a road and select “report a problem.” This isn’t working for many editors

Just found another browser that allows Livemap reports to be published: Avast SafeZone. Works a treat!

I came here to report the same issue. The LiveMap UR dropping capability is non-functional in Firefox. Tried the latest Firefox release and a past release on another PC. Chrome is operational.

I was about to choose this same forum to post this bug. Is there another location that would have more attention for staff?

You’d probably be quicker posting a PM to Unholy - who works at HQ
