Location ALWAYS ON with latest update on iOS

Hello, I updated my Waze app to latest version but now I have an issue. The Waze app never stops using my location, period. I have rebooted my phone and Waze still uses my location. I really like this app but I may have to stop using Waze indefinitely if this problem persists. Thanks.

If you go to Settings>General>Location Reporting and turn that off, it will turn off the GPS.

I am not a huge fan of that defaulting on without asking, but it’s used for calendar integration and “Time to Leave” notifications.
