I thought I posted this here, but apparently Google has different places to send messages.
I first got Waze about 11 years ago when you did not need an email to log in. All I have ever used was my user name. Now when I try to log in on my new phone, it requires an email account. I checked the email used for my Waze account and it is the email I used 11 years ago. That email company has gone out of business, so there is no way to verify it is me when Waze sends “me” a message at that address. Is there another way to change my account settings to my new(er) gmail account without first verifying myself on the out of business email account?
NEVERMIND. Sorry. After I got home and was not under the pressure of being where I didn’t want to be in Texas, I was able to log in on to the new phone with my legacy account.
I STILL HAVE A QUESTION. How can I change my email account from the old dead provider to my shiny new account with Google? If I need to start a new topic I will. First I need to search the forum history for this question.
