I am experiencing a circular login problem. I enter my credentials and get a message that my login is not correct. I click remind me and get my user name and then click the link to reset my password. I change my password and get confirmation that it has been changed. I then try to login again and get the message that I am a temporary user, do I want to join. I click the Join button. I enter a permanent user name, password, nickname and click Next. I then get the message that my login is not correct and the loop begins again. I have tried to just use my temporary user name and log in or set up a permanent user name, but get the same problems. I have the same problems logging in to the website, but interestingly when I went to post this issue my credentials were accepted. I don’t want to loose my history by setting up a new account.

I had the same problem.DO:
1- ask for a new password.
2- go to your phone and at “Settings/Account & Logins” to see your username.
3- use these two infos and login!
4- enjoy!
It solve my problem, let me know if it also works for you.
Thanks for your suggestion. I have reset my password six times or so, but no luck.
While writing this reply I noticed that my user name on the original post is usa_wajn2emh (underscore after use), but on my phone it appeared as usa-wajn2emh (hyphen after usa). I had copied this version and had pasted it a number of times when I was trying to log in. I just tried the version with the underscore and it works now!!!
i have had the same issues. i don’t know how to resolve it but it seems to be related to a partial account set up whereby the account gets created with the email but doesn’t link to a username thereby preventing a separate sign up because the email is in use and the username hasn’t been established so you can’t log in…any help please…
I am also stuck In a failed login loop even tho all information is correct. I even tried resting my password. I’m able to login via Web browser but not the app
i can login via the browser, either on www.waze.com or world.waze.com but not on my gsm app (i use nokia N8-00)

I had the same problem.
Tried all the combinations, changed the password from the web, updated my settings, etc.
Finally, I uninstalled the app from my phone and installed it again.
Now it’s working perfectly.
