Login on the website using a facebook account !?

Hi there,

I feel like totally dumb using the Waze website with this issue… never seen !
I use my Facebook account, I use waze gps on my phone, and I want to check and create a road on the website.

But unable to login ! No prompt for Facebook, no automatic login by Facebook waze page, and of course it looks like waze created a new user when i enter my Facebook email ( personnal, not fb ), and password.

How come ??? Thxs

You don’t have an official account, hence the worldxxxx username. You are using a system generated one. You’ll need to create one through the app which will transfer your points and stuff over. You’ll then be able to edit.
It’s changed so much I don’t remember how now…

Go to https://www.waze.com/support/

In the quick help box type in “username” (without the quotes).
