I was trying to change the below segment to the new 30mph limit, but it claims I do not have permission despite it showing an automatic level 1 lock.

I’ve done that for you. Was it just that stretch which needed updating? the rest leading to the railway still 40mph?

Sorry, only just found this reply. The 30mph zone does extend partly into the next segment north, but not for the whole of the segment and certainly not all the way to the Guided Busway (not a railway, not for many years!).
