Lower Waze's Age Rating on Apple App Store

Hello Waze Support Team,

I’m writing to suggest that you consider lowering Waze’s age rating on the Apple App Store. Currently, Waze is rated 17+, while Google Maps is rated 4+.

Many young drivers and passengers could benefit from using Waze’s features, such as real-time traffic updates and hazard alerts. A lower age rating would make the app more accessible to this demographic.

Could you please provide some insight into why the app has a 17+ rating and if there are any plans to re-evaluate it?

May relate to the age required by Waze’s Terms of Use:

Your age. The Service is intended for use by users who are of the legal age required to hold a driving license. In any case, to use our Service you must be 16 years of age or older. If you are under 16, you may not download or use the Service. Accounts of users under the age of 16 years will be canceled and deleted by Waze, upon receiving notice.
