M60 J23 sliproad unlocks (L5>L2) after split for renaming

My editing level: 2

As I mentioned in a related thread last week, these 2 sliproad segments could do with re-naming “A6140 > Ashton-under-Lyne” (keep left) and “A6140 > Audenshaw” (keep right) to give clearer instructions.

Similarly, these 2 also need the same treatment, but should be “A635 > Ashton-under-Lyne” (keep left) and “A635 > Manchester” (keep right).

Finally while we are in the area, should this segment really be road type “street”? I would have thought “major highway” or “ramp” would both make more sense…

I’m happy to make any or all of these changes myself - though some guidance on the last one would be appreciated - but if it’s easier for you as someone with the unlock privileges to do this then that’s fine by me.

Thanks,
David

For some reason, our local Manchester editors haven’t picked this up before it moved to the second page of the forum, so I’ve made the edits you suggested. I’ve modified the second set to ensure the user gets a Keep Right or a Keep Left - initially one route would have had no additional instruction, the second would have got a Turn Left. This was easier to do than downlock the segments to enable you to make the change and then revisit to lock them again.

Regarding the street segment type, street is sufficient for the purpose. It could be any type that allows routing, and the meets the requirement for the user to get a Keep Right instruction to turn on to the M60 (N).

Thanks for picking these up.
