Dear Editors,
This junction is correctly shown on Waze as ‘no right turn’ from A2 High Street into Orchard Street. For some reason this has not filtered over into Google Maps.
I have flagged this using the maps feedback link twice in the 2 last years but it still invites users to turn right. Medway council now have enforcement cameras on this junction which currently gives a warning on the first offence (see attached letter below). As a possible bug work around I think if you changed it on waze to allow a right turn, save changes and then prohibit the turn it might help push the edit over to G maps correctly. Either way I feel you would have experienced this issue and know the best way to fix it.
Best regards
Martin

Reason:
Edit not reflecting in Google maps.
Thank you in advance

Hi Martin, unfortunately this won’t work. Google maps and Waze are standalone products…edits on Waze have no effect on Google maps and as editors we have no influence over what they do.
just goes to show why waze is better ![]()
Thanks for the replies. Not sure what else I can do ![]()
What you can do is to use Waze instead of other Navigation apps ;).
Anyway, I have tried to report the issue to Google Map. Let see if it will be fixed or not.
There was a UR at the location with the same text. I submitted Edit Requests on Google maps, not heard back yet.
It looks like one of your reports has worked and it now routes correctly ![]()
