When searching on Waze on mobile for the address 29 avenue Parc des Princes, 75016 Paris, the location on the map is incorrect: the pin is located at number 1 avenue Parc des Princes (Claude Bernard Middle and High School) (see screenshots no. 1 and 2) instead of the Carglass location, at the Indigo parking lot at Porte de St Cloud (see screenshot no. 3):
For your information, this same issue doesn’t occur when searching on desktop; the location is correct.
Are you able to fix this bug, please? We have customers complaining that they don’t arrive at our location, but rather at the school when they only type the address into Waze.
Before looking at how to solve this issue, let’s examine what currently exists.
In Waze, no house number has been entered, so Waze looks for the information in Google Maps (if you do a search in Google Maps, you should find the same result as in Waze).
Number 29 does not officially exist, so I suggest you contact your local town hall; without an official house number, Maps makes an estimation, and given how this avenue is laid out, it’s no wonder the estimation leads just about anywhere.
I just saw that number 29 is located on the other side of the bridge and isn’t located between 27 and 31 (but between 36 and 38), so it’s normal that the estimate on Maps is wrong.
On the other hand, the company Carglass does exist in Waze and Maps, and when searching for it, the solution is effective because it’s correctly positioned (verified in Google Earth).
In the meantime, an editor, JonhDoe75, has added 29 to Waze, which should resolve the search issues for this address. Wait about 48 hours before testing again in Waze to allow time for the map to update.
I’ll let Jonhdoe75 finalize this issue with you, especially since he’s a local.
Before testing in Waze, don’t forget to clear the search history for this address because Waze stores locations in the phone’s memory and will always show you the incorrect initial position.
