I tried to edit this myself but it says I can only edit in my driving area; I did drive around our neighborhood with Waze on but that did not seem to help! I can click and highlight the wrongly named section but Waze says it is restricted, as noted above. How can I document that THIS IS my driving area???
Anyhow, in Wilmington, NC, the road concerned is MARSH HEN DR. On Waze it WRONGLY says it ends (the eastern end, right near the Intracoastal Waterway) in Friendly Shores Rd, but it DOES NOT. Friendly Shores Rd is a parallel road towards the eastern end of Marsh Hen Dr. I hope someone can fix this. Thanks much!
Hello - I don’t know why you got the message about the restriction. There are “locks” on roadways that could cause this, but the road in question was not locked, so perhaps Waze had not yet given you credit for the drive.

Thank you for fixing the error! And oh, after a couple of drives up and down the road I live on, I was able to get to the edit screen without that restriction! However, when I went to “Live Map” just now it still shows the previous name of the road. Will it take a day or two to show up in Live Maps, I wonder…
Yes, it will take until Thursday morning if the map tile updates stay on schedule, but sometimes those get delayed by a few days or more so give it time.
