Hi @sew4fun
Thank you for reaching out to get the addressed mapped. To better assist you, are you able to share the address that you would like us to map/amend?
Yes….it is 486 County Road 133, Autaugaville, AL I can mark it on a map if you need me to. It is very rural. I have attached a photo where 486 should be.
A House Number (HN) was already added to the location. I created a Residential Place Point (RPP), with an entry point starting at the driveway.
To see/verify the changes, you’ll need to search for the address within the Waze app. It may also require that you remove and re-add/save it to your favorite destinations.
Thanks so much for helping me get this corrected! Seems like Amazon and FedEX just can’t seem to find our farm office, even with it sitting right beside the road!
On the photo that you sent, I noticed the 486 IS in the correct spot; the road leading around to where the purple triangle is shown is a barn, so don’t want to mislead deliveries, thinking they need to go to the barn! I’ve attached a better aerial photo, showing the small farm office of 486 CoRd 133 (circled in blue) as it sits right beside the road. This is the location we want drivers to find when they search us in WAZE
Literally…they could just throw the package or delivery on the front lawn as they go by! Let me know if you need another photo verifying all of this. I have a composite of 3 photos into one, showing the mailbox, the front of the office with the road numbers on it, and a picture of the mailbox and house with numbers showing on both…but I see that I can only submit one photo at a time.
You’re very welcome! I noticed that prior to the changes, the address was in a different location further down on the County Road.
I relocated the purple triangle (RPP) to the circled area, within your photo above. It has an entry point (visible as a dashed line with a cross-hair) that will manually override where a driver is directed to, for navigation.
I’m not entirely sure what navigation software that those delivery sources use (but could make a good guess). Perhaps you can ask one of the drivers, next time and highlight that is is correct in Waze (and GMaps).
