Hi, thanks for the post. You need to be at least a L3 to add closures. Another editor and myself have added these now.

thanks for you reply and for adding that. Can you also please add that the junction of Scotby Avenue is also closed becasuse of this?

Also just out of interest, how am i meant to get the points to become L3 if i can’t make adjustments like this myself?

Scotby Avenue is already marked as closed at the junction of Lords Wood Lane.

Adding closures is a bit different to normal editing as to be able to do this, you need to be at least level 3. This is because closures added apply immediately in the app.

You can request to make amendments to any road that’s locked above your level by posting here as you did, or you can look for new roads to be added on new estates, or update existing roads on new estates if the satellite images have updated… You can check speed limits are correct, or you can review places ensuring they’re mapped in the right location with the correct information, or add new places. House numbers can also be added to road segments.
