Mentors?

Are there any mentors in The Woodlands/Conroe area? I’m just starting out with editing and want to make sure I am doing this right.

John

Hi there! I’m Joel, one of the area managers where you are. We have plenty of senior editors willing and able to help you get started.

First I want to extend an invitation to our South Central Region Discord Chat Server. This is a great way to meet fellow Texas editors and senior editors, learn more about Waze editing and connect yourself with the Waze community.

Below are some other resources and tools for map editing in Waze:

  • First, we have a quick-start guide on common map edits to avoid.
  • We have a Wiki on South Central Region map editing which is also a great place to get started.
  • The forums are a good source for Q & A. Most questions should be answered there and if not, feel free to ask!
  • A glossary of commonly used terms associated with the Waze map and editing will help you learn the lingo.

If you have any other questions, feel free to respond to this message. I look forward to hearing back from you soon.

We do have some really great Houston area editors who can help you learn the ropes. The links Joel provided are a great foundation and we really encourage you to connect with the community in the Discord server. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I live in Kingwood. Glad to have more help! Hope you got to see the Blue Angels today.

Sean

Hi all,
I’m Yeison Anaya (yjanayas L4) editor from Colombia, SM from Cundinamarca, Colombia.
I am writing to request your help.
Here in Bógota we had an editor named Leonard, but he went to live in Texas, USA,
someone can help him correct some errors that he has found and
that someone be his mentor.
Thanks for the help.
