I managed to make it reset by going through all of my conversations which used to be showing as unread, and refreshed the page straight after.
I had multiple Waze Discuss tabs open as well. I hadn’t been able to reset the unread status for a long a while, decided to have another try the other day and it worked. Not sure if it’s browser/cache related as well. I’ll try to reproduce it when I get enough unread messages and will let you know when I find a reliable way to clear the unread status.
I’m rechecking the chat functionality with the team and have a question: currently, the behavior should be that the chat with the most recent message appears at the top (sorted from newest to oldest, top to bottom). Could you please keep an eye on this and let me know if it behaves differently on your side?
The messages are indeed sorted as you explained. This makes it somewhat possible to find the last message that I have already read, but still, I have to open the messages to see which one wasn’t read. Some of them are messages that I have sent, so I can see that the chat has already been read by me. Some messages don’t have the red notification, but most of them do.
The problem still happens in the Desktop Chrome (not always). There is a message sent to me yesterday, and is designated as not read athough I read it. Refresh of the URL of the forum does not solve the problem.
