Midgegooroo Avenue vs North Lake rd

Hello,

Just noticed whilst driving around that the Southern End of North Lake Road has been renamed Midgegooroo avenue.

I reported through the app and someone “fixed” it before I got chance to look. However I now see that glomp l5 was last editor with a date weeks ago…

Is something going awry somewhere?

Actually someone changed the name before me. I was fixing other things around that area, so it will have the last edit dates I did there in July.

Isn’t that in your AM area? If they have “fixed” it without doing anything, please send them a PM asking what they fixed.

Have you have updated the tiles in that area on your phone? :smiley:

Settings>Advanced>Data transfer>Refresh map of my area

That’s the correct name for that part of the road now.

Lots of roadworks in the area for sure, well more like lots of works bu not so much roads.
The road is still signposted North Lake Road.

I’ll leave it as Midgegooroo and update the area as the roadworks complete.

Ha ha, at the speed at which they do road works and how councils operate, doesn’t surprise me that the signs still say North Lake Rd. :roll:
