Missing drive containing paves

Hi,

I’m new to editing and trying to learn here. So there is a road in my town that is outside my “area”. Saturday night I drove the whole length of it. In that time, I came across 2 new subdivisions being built. In the app I went to map issue and pave. I paved both of them. They were both on my app when I got home. Afterwards I stopped at the grocery store, then came home.

In my recent drives online, the drive from the store home is there, but the 30 mile drive I took 20 minutes before it, including the 2 paves, is not there. Also, that street is still showing as outside my area.

What happened?

I have encountered this problem twice also over the last few days. I know there can be some delays with the paved roads showing up on the WME but it has been a few days and I’ve never seen it take this long(others have told me it can take longer). The other odd thing is that none of several UR’s I also dropped during the drives containing paves ever showed up and the drives themselves haven’t shown up. Drives before and after that did not contain the paves do show up. There was a UR reporter that told us they paved some roads at least 5 days ago that never showed up either (can’t speak to whether they did it correctly but they did have proper instruction on how to do it).

New areas sometimes take more time to show up then areas you’ve already driven and have available to you. It can take up to a week at times for these to show up.

In my case these were areas I already had/have available to edit.

Ok. When I go home today, I will go that way and not pave, just to see if that gets the area to show up.

Interestingly, when I went home via that route, my paves showed on the app.

I have the same problem and these are paves I’ve done weeks ago

I have a similar issue. I paved the road on November 30, 2015, and my rides have shown but not the new subdivision I paved. It shows on my smartphone but not on the website. Weird! Can’t get any help online.

The paves that show on your app are part of the cached data. They disappear after a couple days.

As we are seeing old URs and old Drives showing up, paves are showing also. Hopefully yours will as well.

Around the end of November. I found other ways to add roads to WME with using overlays of the new roads.

Hi, my two latest paves have still not showed up in the editor. It has been three weeks now. Prior to paving, I made sure I had an internet connection and full GPS coverage. I pressed Stop after paving. Very strange.

I don’t know how things are going on the INTL servers for this issue. It seems to have gotten better in North America.

I typically see paved roads a couple of hours after the fact.
I paved yesterday something around 2:30pm (EST) and it was in WME by 6:00pm.
Very rarely I will need to wait a day for this to show.

This seems a bug heard more often lately. I saw a topic in the forum of the UK where Waze is finding out. And here is another forum thread. Waze HQ is looking into it.
