I suggested changing the road category for some access roads to the Penny Market commercial area in Pessano con Bornago because Waze suggests driving through them even if you don’t actually need to go to any shops in the area.
The request was rejected because, and I quote, “it makes no sense to change the road type for your own convenience”.
I’m very sorry that it was thought that I wanted to modify the map for selfish reasons. The request was proposed specifically to prevent commuter traffic from getting bogged down on a road that isn’t actually meant for through traffic. It doesn’t make sense that to enter Pessano con Bornago you have to drive through a commercial area’s parking lot, don’t you agree?
I don’t even have the option to reply with a comment, so I’m bringing the issue to the community.
