My street in Westerson Harrismith is not shown

Hello,

I am new to Waze.
I am trying to add my home street which i see has been left out but i dont seem to have the right
permissions??

Hi Clive,

I see that the Westerson Area is mapped : https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=row&lon=29.14465&lat=-28.26650&layers=1413&zoom=4.
Once you have driven around using Waze, it should ‘unlock’ the area where you have driven when the drive is processed by the back-end services. For longer drives, this might take a day or two.
You must also verify that you use the same account for the Waze app and the Waze Map Editor / Waze Websites to ensure that the info and privileges pertaining to your account is valid while editing.

Have a look at the area in WME ( Map Editor), and see if your drives are showing up in the ‘Drives’ tab, and that areas that were recently driven also shows up in the ‘Areas’ tab. If nothing shows up, it’s possible that you are using Waze with a different account to the one used for logging in to WME and the Forum.
Also check that when ‘Editable Areas’ is checked in the Layer toggle (eye icon on the top right), the area is not grayed out.
