Hi there,
I drive this road quite a lot, and the speed limits in Waze bear no resemblance to reality, especially from Monard on to Tipperary, Tipperary to Bansha and Bansha to Cahir. I have no issue with fixing them, however the road is locked, as I’m still a L1.
Would it be possible to get this road unlocked so I can fix the speed limits please?

Hey horseboxes, welcome on board!
We would generally avoid unlocking long stretches of busy roads. I would suggest to add Map Comments where speed limits change and either myself or another editor will attend to them.

Is this a newly-constructed (or upgraded) section of the N24? We used street view a couple of years ago when we first set up the speed limits, but at the time that was using street view images from 2009, so it’s quite possible that the limits have changed since then - or, of course, that we just messed it up

Hi all. I’ve found that some of the speed limits between Oola and Tipp town were incorrect compared to the latest 2019 Streetview, some of the 60 zones were scrapped, and large sections were reduced from 100 to 80.
I’ve made the necessary changes. Horseboxes, if you can leave it a couple of days to allow the app to update with the changes before you make any reports.

I can’t make out where the 60 ends and the 50 begins looking at the 2019 Streetview…
And also Bansha to Cahir corrected, some of these were all over the place.
I’ve always wanted to spend Sunday evenings trawling up and down the N24 on Streetview… :geek:

It’s an odd kind of entertainment, but even more entertaining when there’s a plastic bag or some leaves stuck in the SV car’s camera and if you’re lucky you just get a blurry view of what the camera might have seen.

Thanks all, much improved now. I’ve made some more comments on the map:
Boher - 60km/h zone
Dromkeen - 60 km/h zone
Brooks Bridge (where the railway crosses between Pallasgreen and Oola) - 60km/h - this was 80 in error from a previous comment of mine.
Clonmel bypass - the whole length of it is 60km/h - I’ve marked both ends, at the Bulmers factory and out the Cahir side.
I’ll be travelling it again on Friday, will find out where it is.
