Currently if you search for National Zoo, I believe you get three reasonable choices.

  • National Zoo Visitor Center - which routes to you to the northwest corner of the zoo where it says the Visitor Center is,
  • National Zoo Dr NW - which routes to you the southeast corner of the zoo, essentially the end of Harvard St, and
  • National Zoo - which is the pin shown and routes you to the private Zoo Employee Access Rd because that is the closest road to the pin

Does anyone see any reason to keep the Zoo Employee Access road on the map? If so is there any good way to avoid that private road being the destination for those that choose to route to the National Zoo?

My vote would be no. Visitors are forced to drive through several times in search of parking anyway. It’s hard enough without introducing and employee entrance.
Employees, except “first-day” employees, are going to know what to do. Advanced-User employees are going to set their own destination to ensure their fastest route.
