Hey just wondering why I can’t navigate to a specific address without entering it in my phone before connecting to android auto. So for example saying navigate to “123 Brown St , Suburb, City” will display a drop down list with options that don’t even include that address. Google maps will find the street address no problem. It’s frustrating!

Thank you for your message to us on the Waze forum. I understand your frustration with what you need to do in order to start navigating using Waze. I myself, face the same issue as you do and I can assure you it’s not an us problem, rather how the search function searches.
When searching for results (when typing), when you have typed “123 Brown St, suburb”, instead of tapping the OK or search button in the bottom right of the keyboard, allow the auto populate results to show between the search bar and keyboard. These results will show the street number and navigate you correctly.
Unfortunately when using Google Assistant, you will experience similar issues in the search drop down list format as well.
I hope this works for you, otherwise like you mentioned, it is easier to search for the address prior to plugging in your mobile device for navigation with Android Auto.
