I searched the forum and the web for answers but couldn’t find any.
Can Waze read QR barcode to navigate?
If not, what iOS app can read the QR and open it in Waze?
When I enter coordinates (e.g.8.282819,47.97706), I get Received location,
but I am unable to view on the map (other country).
If I use your live map, I cannot save as favorite.
I use iOS 10.3.2 on iPhone6plus.

I do not need barcode generator javascript.
Waze isn’t a barcode/QR-code-reader and hasn’t the functionality. Sorry for that.
It would be more useful from my point of view as the Spotify integration but I’m not Waze staff.
But if you use a QR-code-reader you can follow the QR-codes raised by this addon and if correctly configured it starts Waze automaticly and starts the routing.
The live map is only a tool to check routings. It isn’t linked to the app itself.
I don’t know much about IOS, but on Android scanning a qr-code containing an url like this
will instantly start navigation in Waze after pasting the result to the browser. (My example is a place in Germany, so it may exceed the maximun routing length. Take coordinates near your location to test.)
Unfortunately, you are correct.
I tried using an android phone.
It read the QR, opened Waze and started navigation immediately.
iOS is letting me open only in google maps.
That is why I was looking for a QR app that allows me to open the navigation QR with Waze.
Sorry I’m not familar with prefered settings in iOS. Not sure if you could delete it and change to Waze.
