Our address is 6293 Timarron Cove Lane, Burke VA 22015. Frequently people arrive at the culdesac of Covered Bridge Road, presumably because our address is set back from the street with a longer driveway. The majority of these people seem to be using Waze.
I personally have had trouble reproducing this issue, but service/delivery people as well as friends have run into this issue for years now.
How do we address this? (no pun intended)
The location of your address has been adjusted. This should reach mobile devices during the next map update cycle (probably Thursday AM, although it can sometimes take longer).
You’ll need to remove the destination from your Navigation history and Saved Places (i.e., Home), and do a new search for the address.
The only catch is that anyone who has previously navigated to your home using Waze will have the old incorrect coordinates stored in their phone, and will have to go through this same process of removing the old destination and doing a new search to get the corrected location.
Russblau adjusted the address as stated above. Also tell your friends to use Ln instead of Lane in the street name since it appears that Google Maps might be off and I’ adjusted that too. (GM sends a bad import to Waze) .
