Hi All,
Currently using Waze on my iPhone 5. Every time I go in settings > navigation, I set minimize turns to off, avoid highways to off, avoid toll roads to off.
When I shut Waze down and restart and go back into the navigation settings, the minimize turns is always turned on again.
Anyone else experiencing this issue? Perhaps a bug?

I am located in NJ.
Does it matter where I am? Not sure how my location will turn on/off my minimize turns setting.
I don’t have minimize turns in my settings anymore, so I thought maybe it was something that was removed in NA but still existed for the rest of the world. Must be a device/version difference, although I had thought that these options were controlled on the server.
Anyway, when I had a minimize turns setting, it didn’t do anything. So I wouldn’t worry about it coming back on.
Cool. I see that you’re using Android so some settings must be different here and there.
I am having the same issue with my 4s.
The Minimize turns option is a dummy, it no longer exists on the routing server, so it does not matter how it is set.
That’s not true. On my commute home with it on it takes me the long way. When I turn minimize turns off it routes me the quicker route home.
I’m seeing this same behavior on my Android phone, so it’s not just an iPhone issue. Though honestly, I haven’t noticed any difference between having it on or having it off.
