Need help editing a locked TX DOT project area on HWY 59 over the Brazos River - Sugar Land, TX

Good morning,

I live in a community that TX DOT project is effecting a lot of commuters all over the area. They are estimating the bridge closure to be 1 year. See my response to several of the reports below that I have already posted on several of the requests for more information. I can get you in touch with the TX DOT project manager if needs be but if you look at my WAZE history, I think you will see you could probably just trust me on this.

On 3/14, they began the phase of the project where they have closed the northbound Southwest Fwy access road at the fork where you can U-turn to go back South or continue over the Brazos River. This phase is to extend the bridge on the the North end and add erosion prevention in the river. Its estimated completion is Feb 2027. Your only option once you have passed Riverbrook Dr on the northbound Southwest Fwy Access Rd., is to make the U turn South for the next 11 months. We need to get the map updated to reflect this PLEASE! This is effecting a lot of commuters.

Thank you for the information. I’ve added a closure here.

Rockstar!!! Many thanks! A lot of folks will be happy to see this!
