Hi Waze Team,

Already submit new place since February 2017 but still no approval from Level 2 Approver.
Is it Waze Team got Level 2 Approver or dont have???

Hi Waze Team,

fyi, I already submitted applicatuin (PUR) for almost 7-8 times using Waze Application when I was in front of my shop. following 4 step in the application to update new place.

But unfortunately, It still not approved.

Then i login into waze map editor and used same foto that i captured before because i login waze map editor on my PC. Do yo want me to carry my PC to in front of my shop just to snap foto and used that live foto?

Is it photo format is in JPEG, JPG, BMP, are similar and can be used also.

Or your team just want to ‘force’ user to used this forum to increase your user statistic?
(I t seems logic to have many user engaged with this applications and keep login so Waze seems always active)

But i will try to snap live foto as per request, just to see what excuses your team will reply.(Maybe foto is not as your format, or maybe foto too dark, or maybe foto not in the right size… :lol: )

I already submitt new place for Level 2 Approver, but untill now so many excuses i get from Waze:
1-Need permalink - when update, need actual live foto,
2-If update, - maybe foto not in right format or size

Hi,

  1. We are not Waze team. We are volunteer map editor. Malaysian.

  2. Photo can only be captured by smartphone using Waze apps. No other way.

  3. Well, nobody care about login to this forum or not, because Malaysian community active on FB, not on this Forum.

  4. As long as your submission is according to standard practice and of good quality, it will be approved as thousands of Places that’s already exist in the map.

  5. If you think by adding your Place in Waze map giving good benefit to your business, then please do it correctly. Else, Waze is not on the loosing end. You are.

Approbation’s places never come from Waze Team. It’s only with benevolent people like you and me.

Where are you from ?

Can you give us a permalink of the place you submit ? Maybe someone’s else will take a look and approves or disapproves.

Not sure where to post this. At any rate, I think I’m close adding a post here and someone will direct me… I added a business yesterday. It looks like it was indeed added. When I submitted this business, I selected the category shopping since it is indeed shopping… when I did a search for my local area on shopping, it did not show up. Why is that? And while I’m posting. Twice I noticed in my area of two listings, one for coffee and one for restaurant; both was owned by same owner. I edited both with closed. These two have been closed for Gosh, close to 6 months now. Still showing up in those two categories. How long does one take to delete closures and add a business to a category? I love this community map. I’m OCD yes, I like everything to be perfect and I know nothing really is without wiring towards it. I’ve been using this app off and on for five years now. I say off and on because when I search for something and it doesn’t show up, I get frustrated and refer to another version. I just noticed I’m able to edit info and slowly going through the list and adding for my area exact addresses and such. In close, my main concern is how long does it take for a closed business to be deleted and a new business be added to a category?

  1. This Malaysia forum. So, if it’s related to Malaysia, then you’re in the right forum.

  2. When you’re adding new location, it will require approval since you’re not yet a trusted user.

  3. Any location in the map is maintain by the community. The map is maintain by the community. So, if nobody reporting it, it will not be updated.

  4. Not all Places (POI) can be edited. Those that can be edited is Waze Places. Those that’s cannot, higher chances it’s data from third party; i.e. Google Map.

  5. Lastly, it’s all down to community effort to keep it updated.
