These are correct as from gazetteer.org.uk and my local knowledge, is there any way to import all the names as per gazetter then they will be available as i tidy up the city names. There a loads that are not correct. Seems daft to gave city and state names the same, i know its how waze was but no harm sorting it as i go a long

I’m sorry, I can’t answer your question about importing city names from the Gazetteer. You might get a more knowledgeable response by sending a PM to Twister-UK who wrote the WMEOD script and interface to the OS Opendata information. As far as I know, there were no city names on the original UK basemap import which was the foundation of the editing map and they’ve all been added by editors, but I may be completely wrong.
